Harold’s in the Heights is a name Houstonians have been familiar with for over half a century. Harold Wiesenthal was an iconic figure in The Heights neighborhood, and was instrumental in creating and fostering the Texan hospitality the neighborhood has become known for.
Today, we’re striving to keep his legacy of hospitality alive through Harold’s reincarnation as a casual restaurant serving a unique brand of Southern and Creole cuisine. In it’s current iteration, Harold’s is the product of Chef Antoine Ware‘s New Orleans culinary roots and Owner Alli Jarrett‘s South Carolina-bred brand of hospitality and service.
Harold’s presents a menu to Houston and the Heights unlike any other found in the neighborhood. Whether you’re coming for a casual meal for two or calling for a private party, Harold’s Restaurant, Bar and Terrace is an outstanding option for brunch, lunch, dinner or happy hour, no matter the occasion. Our Upstairs Terrace provides one of the best dining views in The Heights, and is perfect for a private party or event.
